Edoras Field Trip

Umi: Well whatever Anima is, it requires immense magic, so i assumed it would be over here. Now lets get ready, we dont know what'll happen next

"Sure I can keep watch," Oberon said as he turned to the back of the ship. There were ships in the distance, but they were going the wrong way and Oberon didn't think they were the military type. "So far so good."

Shadiic: Hmm the back in safe, but..... what is that thing up ahead?

Shadiic pointed to a large creature that was flying close to the lacryma.

Shadiic: How are you guys at shooting? We got some turrets so if that thing becomes a threat we can take it down.

Changing gears, Shadiic increased the speed of the airship as they approached. The creature looked like a giant beast and it seemed as though it had riders. It looked like it was a patrol for the lacryma.

Umi: Im a pretty good shot, but that thing looks a little dangerous

Rather than just sit around in the cockpit, he want up a flight of stairs to the gun turret, getting everything all set, he aimed at the flying monsters.

Umi: Just line me up and ill take the shot

Shadiic reared the craft into position when suddenly the creature veared to one direction.

Shadiic: SHIT target is inbound fast at 10 o'clock.

Turning the ship onto its side, he exposed the undercarrage giving Umi and Oberon a clear view of the target.

"Let em rip!"

Umi: I gotta from here! FIRE!

Umi put pressure on the turrets trigger sending bullets of magic flying out at the opponent, Umi wasnt the best shot, but he clipped a little of the creature closest to him, sending it slowly downward.

Umi: Keep going!

"Ok!" Oberon shouted back as he went to the other turrets and started firing as soon as he sat down. The creature was big, black, and mean looking and was heading for them in a roundabout manner. It was going around them, but closing in while doing so. The shots kept firing at it, but more seemed to be coming from the other side, bringing great trouble for the three Earthlings.

Shadiic: ARGH!!! Dammit it's hard to stear with the recoil from the incoming bullets! Guys the shield are are keeping us safe for now, but it's steadily being drained. Clip that bastard's wing!

Steering the ship so that Umi and Oberon would still have full view of the target while making their way to the Lacryma was hard, but not impossible. Luckily it was only one asshole behind them, any more and Shadiic would just ram them out of the sky.

Umi: Turrets arent going to help, I think i'll use my "magic" Zero Stream!

Rather than unleash a gust of wind, it created an intense burst of pressurized air, larger than a cannon and slowly expended outward, knocking out the creatures coming toward them, and causing them to drop from the sky
